A little about me
Hi, I'm Karthik.
I treat every random idea like a side quest. Some turn into working projects, some turn into 40 open browser tabs, and one turned into a system that looks inside lunar craters the sun has never seen. I mostly build with computer vision and ML, because teaching a machine to see still feels a little like cheating.
I came for the code and stayed for the physics. It's almost unfair how well math describes the universe, as if the cosmos left its source code lying around in equation form and we're slowly learning to read it.
Away from the keyboard, I'm usually watching things go very fast: rockets, F1 cars, a tennis ball with so much topspin it changes its mind mid-flight. When I slow down, it's for a game of chess I fully intend to win, a violin or piano piece on repeat, or a good paradox that keeps me thinking well past midnight.

Projects
Lunar Shadow Imaging
computer vision · the Moon
Near the Moon's poles there are craters that sunlight has never touched. This system works with images of those permanently shadowed regions and pulls out the detail hiding in the dark, so you can actually see what's down there.
ChainSight
bitcoin · monitoring
Keeps watch over Bitcoin transactions and flags anything that looks shady, so suspicious activity stands out from the noise instead of hiding in it.
FlowKeep
browser extension · llms
Tracks how many tokens I burn talking to Claude, and when one model runs out of patience, hands the conversation off to another so the train of thought keeps going.
findr
bot · internships
An internship-hunting bot built around exactly what I care about, so I spend less time scrolling job boards and more time building things.
System Health Monitor
terminal · monitoring · group project
A live dashboard for your computer's vital signs: CPU, memory, disk and network, right in the terminal. It only raises the alarm when something stays wrong, not every time it blips.
Spotify Taste Lab in progress
music · data · side idea
A side idea I've been itching to build: turn your listening history into a map of your music taste, find your music twin, and get songs from just outside your comfort zone.
